Hikmet graduated from Marmara University, Faculty of Economics and Administrative Sciences, Deparment of Business in 2002. He won the Certified Public Accountant Examination in 2005 and served as Financial Adviser and Auditor at various companies until 2013. He is a holder of Independent Auditor title granted by KGK in 2009.(Public Oversight, Accounting and Auduting Standarts Authority He conducted audits for the companies that operate in the field of textile , food industry, tourism, power, retail, oil, manufacturing and automotive industry through his career. He founded the Esas Bağımsız Denetim SMMM A.Ş. in 2014 and currently serves as the chairman.
Hikmet, who is fluent in English, is married and has 2 children.
